Re: DeWalt RAS DADO adaptor bush
I may be wrong being on the other side of the world to you but I suspect finding 20mm dado set might be more difficult than 30mm. You could bore out a 16mm set but the blade bodies are tougher than a whore's heart and must be done accurately. Swarf came off blue when I did this and I've avoided it s...

Re: DeWalt RAS DADO adaptor bush
The bush (flange?) is redesigned to be much slimmer than the standard part such that the first blade of the dado set just clears the inside of the blade guard. You may need to file the arbor flat so the the minimum thickness dado (eg just the two outer blades and no chippers) is still gripped. The o...

Do you have a link to them please? I've googled that name without success. ...

I don't know where you will operate this machine but if there is any risk of freezing then make sure you add antifreeze to your coolant water.
A friend of mine failed to do this and I got the job of repairing the motor casing and sealing the coolant leak after a freeze up.

Just what it says.
I made a test post to explore something about pictures and deleted it however this forum does not allow a blank post or full deletion of a post so I had to leave something.
A few days ago I also messaged a moderator about the problem hence Jasons reply above.

Normal ply is not designed to bend into tight radii like that. Instead perhaps look for bendy ply. Care will still be needed at the joint to ensure a smooth transition.

I quite agree Alan
One of the problems on this forum and others is that the underlying software defaults to NOT sending notifications to posters of replies.
It is quite normal to see that “one post wonders” don’t even revisit to see replies.

All the symptoms suggest capacitor apart from tripping the RCD. Are you sure it was the RCD that tripped or was it the MCB that tripped which would be consistent with capacitor failure.
