Hi Chris,

I would suggest you try Brooks Brother and Gibbs and Dandy in Nottingham.

Also, have a look at this thread https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/forums/tim ... 08370.html.

Kick boards

Could you please tell me the depth that you recommend for kick boards on kitchen cabinets? I'm thinking that it should be about 90mm.

That's another cracking kitchen Paul, well up to your usual standard.

The only thing that grates with me are the lights over the table and this from a man who insisted on having a 70s style light hanging just above our dining table.

Hi all, I've just been quoted 15.95 ex-vat per sheet for ten sheets of general purpose h/w ply 2440 x 1220 x 3.6 from Travis Perkins. Is this about right or is there anywhere else that I should try. It needs to be delivered to Nottingham.

did the screwdriver fix it ? if so, job done :-) I ran this past swmbo, but it didn't get her seal of approval.  it was only half jest ! if the screwdriver stopped the movement, then wedges should do the trick :-) Thanks for the explanation. Tread on staircase loose - Photos Added

Hi all, Apologies if I don't explained this very well. The bottom tread on the staircase, at home, is loose and I wondered which is the best way to repair it. If you stand on the tread it goes down about 3mm until it meets the last step and you turn left to go into the hallway. 1. Should I rip a pie...

no ? Expanding is a side effect of how it reacts with moisture when curing

if you want to glue "sloppy" joints , then epoxy with a filler is the stuff
Cascamite will also fill "sloppy" joints. ;)
