Ok forgive me for being a total virgin when it comes to all this stuff, but where can i get a quality blade for my table saw, the size is 200 with 16 bore. The saw is a Einhell BT-TS 1500. I know its not the best in the world, but i just do bits as a hoby, and to be honest, its what i could afford. ...
Pens
Well just started doing these, got a set of 3 blanks, brought them from e-bay, my first attempt, and apart from the first one (once all done, it was a bit fat) quite happy. Re: Does tool quality play a part in work quality?
Quality is nothing without experiance. I do a spot of air gun hunting, and get great clean kills with a medium to low priced rifle, i know some who have brought a £1000+ Daystate, and cant hunt to save ther life, so the gun goes for sale as hardly used. Its the same with everything. The best results...

I'd consider beech or some other hardwood. Much tougher than pine. No need to apologise for your work 'standards'. They look OK (if you like that sort of thing). They can only get better. We all produced crap to begin with and many of us still do! cheers, a stroke on the back, and then a kick in th...

I have never been a painter, and get over excited with a spray can. So after using a scroll saw for the first time (making some wine glass holder type thing for her indoors) i spent many hours sanding by hand in the fret work, blew all the crap of and cleaned the table, very very smooth, but after t...

Man bread
Flour (Plain), how ever much you want to use, then half that amount in milk powder, and if your very hard, use bitter instead of water. Whack it in the oven on a med heat. You end up with a very filling bread. Drink with Newcastle brown ale in your shed when the other half has that cr*p xfactor.
