Yes I believe they are going to add cushions. It's not a chair for the elderly, it's a bit low to the floor but it is comfortable.

I haven't made one of these before. It's mainly glued and screwed but I have added some domino joints for strength. Will, I've recently been on a course run by a company called pop up business school. I've been self employed for 20 years but I found it incredibly helpful. There is an event coming up in Bolton. If you can get on it would really help you. It's funded by the local authority so is free to attendees.

I recently bought some sapele from Whitmores timber for £25 per cu ft plus vat, around £900 I think in new money.
