its not new been around for years.my local place has a round tank that can take anything upto 7mts long but only 1.2 mts high.so anything 1.2 or under door window frame etc they will treat it complete anything over will go in bits. one word of warning it will stink your van and your workshop out for...

my set up is ovolo on the bottom rebate block on top.why well as you mentioned sliding sash windows (know mould on the bottom rail for ironmongery which your talking shite by the way) should you need to use the ovolo block on its own. like the meeting rail on the bottom sash has an ovolo and a groov...

So are the joins just glued butted then, what glue / tape do you use to glue them to the glass? The duplex system is just a sealed unit but where we have the glazing bars they put bars inside the units that line up with the glazing bars so that you don't see the back face of the outside (stuck on) ...

do the cill the same as an open in door frame with a water bar rebate the the bottom of the sashes and fit a very small weather board

i use prime and super prime sq edge oak all the time stopped waney edge boards years ago.
my hardwood supplier is only 2 mins up the road from me so i always go and select my own.
there is a lot of shite sq edge oak around so be carefull what you buy.

thank you all for your advice.the school have now asked for the seat tops to be upholstered
so plywood fine for them.
how about the end panels upstands and the back would veneered plywood be any good.
all the edges lipped with hardwood and then sealed with a good quality lacquer.

i have been asked to price a large desktop that will fit against
the wall 4.2mts long with a curved front. the middle section (1.4mts)
will have an internal curve 550 at the narrow point and the 2 outside
sections external curves 900 at the widest point.
whats the best material to use.

i think you need to look at document K dia 8.
the centre arc is split into equal segments
whether its 2,3,4or 6 winders
thats you going all equal which must be at least 220mm.
thats how i set out winders

why are you doing stop rebates,your just making more work for yourself.
run the rebates on the head and cill m/t the joints offset the shoulders
draw bore put the pegs in job done.
