Whatever the machine you choose
My advice would be to ditch the blade with out even trying it and get a new one from Tuffsaws
You won’t regret it as you will spend a lot of time and frustration trying to get the blade supplied with the machine to work as they are usually low quality

It is probably routed out and then pressured treated
Expensive process for small quantities
You could enquire at your local merchant about providing the finished profile pressure treated. I know Carvers would provide such a service

Could you constructive it upside down
Starting with the largest octagonal and screw the next size down through to the larger octagonal therefore the screw heads will be concealed

Sounds like an o ring problem

My smaller nail gun sometimes sticks if I haven't used it for a while and I have to manually lubricate it
