Re: Cutting Tenons

I've got the Wealden one. It works but you need good backup at the tail end of the cut if you want to avoid spelching, though that doesn't apply if you're doing four shouldered tenons of course.

Re: Mitred MDF Exhibition stand??

Mine is the offering from Hammer but it is identical to the Wealden one. (but was cheaper at the time on offer)

I'll post some more pics tomorrow

I think it is worth checking the Hammer prices for spindle tooling as they often seem to beat the main vendors, especially on their Christmas sale list

Steve, I see the Wealden sets produce a groove of 6-8 mm but you are using 9mm panels. Do you need to rebate the back or have you been able to make the groove a little wider, with the use of shims or spacers?

Re: Cutting grooves on a spindle moulder

I asked this a while ago, and ended up buying the Wealden shim adjustable jobby, as I think it was more bang for your buck at the price.
It's 3 piece, adjustable 4 - 15mm in 0.1mm increements, all knives (TCT) replaceable, cuts clean as a whistle.
Been well pleased with it.
