Hello guys,
I am building a 10 foot wooden jon/skow. I just need help on how much wood to get, and what dimensions to get. The plywood is 3/4 in, I have the wood for the seats, and I am going to be using spruce instead of oak. If any one could help that would be great. Thanks a lot!

You'll need to be a bit more specific if you want people to work out how much wood to get. I know there are perhaps 2 people on the forum that have boats, but most of us do not. I had to google just to find out what a skow was, and then I found your question on a number of other forums along with a PDF...

Along with the answers:
Looks like you need three sheets of 6′ x 4′ ply at least, and at least 60′ of chine logs, stringers etc.
2 sheets of 1/4 inch ply for sides and 2 sheets of 3/4 for bottom and transom, pine gunwales and other inserts
What else do you need to know or do you just need more detailed sizes?
I personally haven't got a clue, but the overall design looks fairly simple so if you tell us what bits you need dimensions for then someone will be able to help you out.
