Due to lack of space in my workshop, I have to part with my woodworking machine.
That "little" machine has, around a single motor that you swivel into position:
- A table saw for ripping stock
- A surfacer (planer) - with 3 knives for really smooth finish
- A radial arm saw for crosscutting
- A thicknesser
- A moulding attachment with some blades
I haven't managed to make much use of it (you do need a bit of space to be able to move around it), but it has always been stored in dry spaces.
It was given a fair bit of TLC 12 months ago (new radial arm saw and table saw blades, resharpened the surfacer blades, cleaning up the table, re-greasing the bearings, etc.). It was all done and tested by a professional cabinet maker I know. Unfortunately it hasn't got used since...
It's a beast! Made of cast iron (in times where over-engineering was the norm, but quality was something always there), it weighs probably 300 kg. It does comes with a very solid and firm base, which allows easy and smooth operation of the machine.
The whole thing comes apart for "easy" transport.
Looking for 450 pounds.
You will need to collect from the Cambridge area (and will most likely need a sack barrow as it is really heavy)
Note that most of the photos were taken before the TLC was done, apart from the one with the white wall behind
