are adjustable work benches too hard to make for a novice?

are adjustable work benches too hard to make for a novice?

Never built any table before but i have alot of spare time lately and want to make something like this workbench https://www.storagesystems.shop/product/adjustable-height-work-bench/

Am I being too ambitious?

If you're a total novice, might be a bit of a challenge. Not saying its impossible, if you like a challenge go for it.

Welcome to the forum. Do you need the table to be adjustable height? If you just want to make a work bench for a garage or workshop then it's an easy project even with just basic tools. Use 4x2 or 3x2 CLS for legs and frame and mdf for the top. If you go to a timber yard buy moisture resistant mdf and get them to cut it to size. Good luck.
