Are feathered edge slats suitable for a bin store?

Hello all,

Am total noobie here am looking to design an attractive yet budget bin store.

Waa thinking cls baton will do but not sure whether to go with a feathered edge or shiplap...or just an eased edge timber?

Any thought welcome

Up to you of course but I quite like the rustic look of feather edge boarding in the garden for simple things.
