Good evening

Has anyone built an Oast Cowl? I’m looking to reinstate a cowl on my project, there are companies that do it, but it doesn’t look as though it should be too difficult to do. But as ever a few drawings / hints n tips will make things much easier and quicker or make me realise my efforts will be better spent elsewhere and buy one instead.

If i was to make one i'd be asking you to supply detailed architectural drawings . Very detailed !

Certainly seems to be some sort of black art. Currently have someone doing some cad designs based around what i’ve managed to glean from the net and photos from around the area etc. Though does seem as though there’s quite a bit of flexibility in designs. Fortunately there’s no rush.

Well 5 months later, all done and up, accoya to hopefully give it a long a relatively maintenance free life.
