Buying timber - north wales and shropshire.

Postby NorthWalesBen » Thu Feb 02, 2017 8:32 pm

Hi all.
I am hoping some of you may be able to advise me of where I can buy timber. I live near Llangollen in north Wales and am looking for sources of preferably locally sourced hardwoods. Any suggestions within about an hours drive from llangollen would be great.

Thanks

Ben

Hi Ben, you could contact http://www.woodknowledgewales.co.uk/ or Coed Cymru they might be able to give you a list of local contacts in your area.

One or two on the forum are in the Shropshire area, so they may be along with some more info.

I haven't replied as I haven't found any supplier round here in Shropshire that consistently supplies decent oak.
