Blum runner suppliers?

Postby davidpidge » Thu Oct 26, 2017 11:41 am

Hi all,
After having problems with Grass runners and seeing how many people rave about Blum products I'm going to try them out. Who supplies your Blum stuff? I need some touch open drawer runners for an upcoming project so I think I need the Blum tip-on runners. Anyone used them? I can't find any good drawings for their runners. Bit confused.

Just noticed that probox stock all the runners. Somehow seem to be half the price of ironmongery direct.
Has anyone used both Grass 'tipmatic' runners and Blum tip-on and compared them?

I quite like making cabinets, windows and doors but I mainly do site work so don't have any where near the same amount of experience using cabinet hardware as you do and you obviously know your stuff when it comes to high class fitted cabinets, so can I just ask what prompted you to swap from Blum to Hettich?

I`ve used the Blum ones from day 1, the rep gave me a Hettich set to try, I really like the adjustability of them
nice smooth action, front to back and side to side adjustments

What company did the rep come from? I've got a blum rep coming soon hopefully so would be good to compare.
