What about powder coated elements that need to be cut Mark like scribing pieces, plinths etc does it chip and can it touched in with a touchup pen if it does ?

I got a few powdercoaters in my area ill be asking them if they can do it or maybe its a bit more specialised.

Any particular type of MDF required for the process?

From what I believe

It requires a different set up to how metal workers powered coat.

It’s very hard wearing and is hard to the touch.

The finish is suspect because you have no control over the of the process.

Ie - with a spray finish, with a first coat of primer it shows up defects which you can correct - then 2nd coat and top coat. With PC you don’t have that luxury.

It has its uses but a fine finish isn’t one of them!
