Attaching quartz top to kitchen island

Post by Roger-M » Mon Jul 15, 2019 1:58 pm

I'm just finishing a kitchen island for my daughter's new self build, and she has a piece of 30mm quartz worktop already cut to size to fit - 1950mm x 1040mm - so probably about 150kgs - so it's not going to move in a hurry. How do I attach it to the island? I'd rather not have to drill it unless I must. Is there some sort of sealant that it sits on to stop it shifting? CT1 or silicon maybe? Any suggestions gratefully received. Photos of island to follow!
Cheers, Roger
