The Halo to fight Covid - 19

Just an idea but it seems there are a lot of hospital staff without PPE and face shields seem to be a disposable product . This is a thought made up within 5 minutes so could be total b*ll*cks but it isnt hard to rip down some softwood and glue the over lap together . Add to the front velcro and plastic .
Can we get velco , soft wood and plastic companies to agree ? Would you be up for it or have any better ideas ?

Leveller has posted that he is already doing this. Just took a look at my workshop to see if it might be viable and it's in such a mess

It's a v.good idea Jason and if it's possible then I'd be happy to do my bit. The only thing is that PPE has to be clean and although my workshop is fine for woodwork I'm not sure it would be upto the standard required to make PPE.

If you have any info about how to go about it I'd see if I can pitch in.
