Hi all, new to the site, currently studying level 2 city and guilds carpentry at Guildford college as an adult learner, i'm employed full time as a firefighter but i'd love to be a chippy instead. Whilst training im always looking for experience , friends and family etc. I have been plastering for about 15 years now and have some experience in the building game, so in answer to the question i tick both boxes. Any carpenters Guildford area looking for keen casual labour i'm always willing to learn !!

Wow, the votes look pretty even!

I'm looking for Carpenters in the trade/subcontractors.

My company also support apprenticeships.

If you are interested, we have a contact form on our website: https://www.ajccarpentry.co.uk/

Ive been a Carpenter since I was 18 and I’m 54 now, so just a few years lol.
I prefer Referbs and conversion work because of the variety. Sometimes I’m in the ground shuttering or up building a roof, other times I’m hanging doors or fitting stairs and kitchens.
If I have time which is rare I also do a bit of Carving.
Currently running the pub conversion I’m working on which seems to happen alot

First thanks for letting me join.
For me it's a hobby. I am a retired motor mechanic after 50 years working. I just wanted to learn new things though my Dad was a skilled building trade person and got my basic knowledge from him.
