Festool rotex

After many years my makita random orbit has died.
Looking at the festool rotex or the ets 150
Anyonehave experience of ither over my old makita?
Be used for everything from floors to joinery to furniture.

I've had my rotax for years, with the midi extractor. It's brilliant, never let me down. Thinking about the Mirka sander now as I am using abranet abrasive and an interface pad, I think the Mirka is a bit lighter.

Thank you for the reply.

I've taken the plunge and ordered one after watching various videos and found a few reviews.
I'm hopeing it will make life abit easier i.e possibly just taking one sander out with me also be very useful for the workshop.
