Closing down sale at Tools4Pro

Postby thatsnotafestool » Fri Jul 05, 2019 1:28 pm

There are some stonking bargains here and there.

Shame they're closing down as they were my Go-To for Rubi stuff.

Think they might also have a Spanish outlet, Jonathan

Hi Rodger...just managed to sort my login hick up out.

Looking at there wed site they are a Spanish company, don't know how uk prices compare to our local prices....guessing we could get Rubi gear a little cheaper,

I try and avoid any tiling work, especially floor tiling as my knees no longer agree with it.

I know what you mean re knees. I used to se 'add-on' kneepads...the ones with straps around the knee but late last year suddenly developed 'foot-drop'...a crushed common peroneal nerve...and the only cause as far as we could work out were the straps on the kneepads.

Rubi do some nice stuff. I bought a super-thin diamond cutting blade that is perfect for cutting mitres cleanly on marble pencil mouldings.

Rodger
Have you seen the rubi tile leveling system? Excellent when doing big slab work....last year I had my Italian mate put up some 2mx1m porcelanosa slabs, the levelling system makes it so easy.

No I haven't...should have taken a look at their site to see if they had any in the sale but too late now. We've got a large terrace to lat but thankfully not 2m x 1m tiles.

I did get a Scheppach wet tile cutter...absolutely brilliant especially for large tiles.
