Dust extractor filling unevenly

Postby davidpidge » Mon Apr 24, 2017 5:19 pm

Hello all,
My old twin bag extractor used to fill it's bags evenly so they were full at the same time, could change them together. Perfect. My new (used) JET extractor fills one bag to the top when the other has about 6" of chips/dust. Very annoying as I have to change the bag more often. Might as well have a single bag extractor! Any reason why this is happening? This extractor is basically the same size/shape as my old one. Hoses etc to the machine haven't changed.

They usually have a fixed metal flap up the spout somewhere, you can bend this one way or the other to deflect the chips more in one direction or the other.
Have a look at my facebook page and leave a comment or two.

As Bobby said , you need to adjust the metal flap .
