Wadkin 12 inch BAO S300 - advice on replacing cutter block spring

Postby Toothpick George » Thu Aug 31, 2017 7:06 pm

Hi All, I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a small problem. I'm working with the above machine, and I need to change the cutterblock springs. I've got replacement springs, but I can't work out how to get the old ones out. They seem to be held in with dome headed brass pins (so no purchase can be gained, as they are held deep inside the blade rebate on the cutting block. Has anyone come across this problem before? It seems like a such a daft design. Any advice would be appreciated greatly. Thanks in anticipation. TG
