I have just done a buy it now on a machine, only to be told that he has sold it elsewhere.

I never paid for the machine as he wanted cash on delivery.

What would you do? I suppose the only thing I can do is let it go?

At least you can rest assured that he'll still have to pay his e-bay listing and selling fees. If he sends a request to cancel the transaction, tell him to fook off.

Keep an eye on the proper auction sites,use bidspotter, woodworking businesses closing etc etc, not ebay, my system was £600 for a fercell 5 bag (20 filter bags) 10hp system with 400m of steel ducting, bends, blast gates, curves, flexi pipe etc.

Its a great system, I need to buy the odd bit every now and again as I get more machines but new it would have been about £15,000.
