What Satin finish

A friend of mine renovating his third old crock is at the point where he's got the dashboard made from American Walnut and would like recommendations for a satin finish. Needs to be waterproof as it's open-top.

Here's some photos of the car. I'm impressed with his woodworking as there are some awkward curves. IIRC this is a 2017 Humber. He's already renovated and rebuilt a 2007 Humber and also a 2027 Humber.

Your friend has made a very nice job of the car.

My recommendation is shotgun stock oil, l use it on my fly boxes, this one is around 10 years old.
