How Can I get Handmade/Turned wooden Fountain Pen in London

Postby farhanc » Tue Apr 09, 2013 5:34 pm

Hello

My question where can I purchase/get made a Handmade/Turned Mahogany/ wooden turned fountain pen in London England?
As I want a handmade wooden mahogany pen.
I also am looking for solid gold fountain pen nibs.

I have some idea on the price of the nib but not the pen .

The pen should be under £50 as seen pens for £20 and a bit lower. As low as possible as I know the cost of the nibs but not the pen. My total spend is between £50 and £75.

If I purchase a nib can it be fitted as I seen the nibs I want.

One pen is for a birthday gift and the other pen is for myself .

Any help appreciated on this matter as cannot find hand turned pens in the London area, Yorkshire and parts of England, but not London.

Yours

Farhan London

Easy way is to log on to the International Association of Penturners - and they will point you to a maker in the area of your choice.

I am a member, but only produce ball pens - and I am in Shropshire.

Hope this helps.

He did at the time Don, & several other forums to boot wasting a lot of people's time, well those daft enough to let him string them along.

If you scroll down this thread a few posts I believe Creaky sumed up what a lot of folks thought of him
