fired earth style kitchen

Postby Tomyjoiner » Fri Jan 04, 2019 10:35 pm

I started this kitchen 14 months ago but they ran out of cash, sold a house so now i get to finish it. Theirs still quite a few things to do like a utility room a large cloaks cupboard in hallway and another sliding door, I've just started making internal shutters for the windows today. Sorry about the pics I'm guessing half of them will end up on their side, they usually do. Poplar and Oak face frame with main units sprayed in purbeck stone and the island in porcelain v. the island top was done in 3" oak an was bloody heavy when you do things on your tod.The floating shelves were 36mm veneered mdf to keep the weight down an i welded up some brackets myself to make sure they could take the weight of all the crap that will be on them in 6 months time.

I wouldn’t recommend no plinths as it will be a right pain cleaning under them, on the other hand it might be handy to brush everything under!
