I thought I recognised that desk with the flap in the middle - he trained at Peter Seftons and it was on display when we went. Not for me I'm afraid.

Yes I also spotted that. It all seems to have a slightly artificial look about it. It would be interesting to see the price and if they sell any.

I picked it up from here which I hadn't seen before.

Some good-looking pieces (from other makers) on that site, Brian.

The John Rook stuff all looks a bit visually clumsy to me (like the legs on the Krenov piece which look totally overbearing to me, being big and blocky to start with, and then to cap it off, done in a dark contrasting timber to ensure their lack of delicacy is the centre of attention for the whole piece).
