New tenon saw

Postby Jamiethedyas » Wed Mar 06, 2019 1:02 pm

Just bought this second hand tenon saw, (new to woodworking) and I've noticed a bend, not in the length of the saw plate but off angle from the spine itself.
Just wondering if this is normal?

Any help would be appreciated thankyou.

Tried to upload a pic but the file is too large.

welcome to the forum. you need to make a couple of posts before you can post a picture, but from your description it is probably fine. As long as the plate is flat and straight and the spine is straight it doesn't really matter about the angle of the spine to the plate.
