Marmalade

Yee hah it's the marmalade season! Spring must be just around the corner. I just did Delia's recipe for dark marmalade. Very tasty. Frank Cooper on steroids!

Blimey - end of January already! I nearly forgot!!

I've made this one the last few years and it's a firm favourite. Looks to be rather lighter than your recipe.

I fancy a go at Delia's Piccalilli, seeing as I am an addict for the stuff!

In my youth I would eat a whole jar for a bet. Yep, safe to say I liked the stuff more than I do now... or it could be that I have more sense!

I've just tried a batch of Ms Smith's dark marmalade too. Quite pleased with it, it was very easy to do compared with other styles I've tried, but it's a wee bit bitter at the moment. I normally keep marmalade for a couple of years before eating it, it really does mature to a smoother flavour, so perhaps this needs time.
