can't get sketchup to work

can't get sketchup to work

As the title states really. I have su on my pc in the office and decided to put it on my lap top. After what seemed like succesfull down load, jus can't get anything to work. I can sellect tools and such but nothing happens when trying to draw?

You have a duff download. Un-install and download again.

Sorry, I am no expert in these matters but it may be that the uninstall is not removing all of the dross that programs leave around these days. I can only suggent that you contact Google technical guys using the "help" link on the www.sketchup.google.com/ page.

If you solve it, come back and tell us. The answer may be useful to others.

Thanks for trying to offer a solution Richard. I did check and found no other copies once I had deleted it for a fourth time. I then had the brilliant idea of down loading SU 7 which is what I have on the pc. Success worked first time and thought I had finally sorted it only to be knocked back because I couldn't get it to work again afterwards. What I have noticed is that the figure of a person that usually appears does not load with the programme now . So looks like I will have to get google to sort it. Many thanks or trying.
