Combination woodworking machine

Hello there. I wonder if anyone can help?!
I'm looking to buy my first combination machine. Saw/spindle/planer. My buget is £600-£1000 (hopefully! If it requires more I'll have to bite the bullet) I'm current watching an SCM minimax lab260 and a robland startrite k260. Does anyone have any information/advice about the two machines? Which would you recommend? How much would you be willing to pay? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Startrite used to import and sell the k260 it was ok. but I think there is a spares issue with these now. Ok if you want bearings or belts but if anything is missing problem. On a universal always check it is all there, spares on anything like this are expensive.

I would bite the bullet and pay more, look for a second hand Felder or Hammer. They would be a pleasure to use and if you decided to change them later you would probably get your money back.

I would agree with a felder or hammer purchase

But beware of felder on ebay.

There has been a felder cf741 on the bay four times now same machine four different locations four different sellers and currently for sale in Northern Ireland

Reported to ebay fraud who point you in the direction of a police fraud website from where the last listing disappeared, however it still keeps appearing for sale

Would not like to see anyone get burnt
