Spray finish and soda/sandblasting

Hi guys,

I currently run a small business making all sorts, however one of the things that seems popular for my customers of late is "can you clean up this old table/chair/bookcase/old piece of crap?" now I mean I've taken on a few of the jobs and the customers have been happy but i'm interested in getting some equipment to make the work far less laborious and time consuming. I've looked around and although I want to get some decent kit i'm not willing to break the bank either, id rather get something middle of the road and then come back in a few years time and upgrade where I need to. My dad knows a little about spraying etc as a keen Motorbike builder but nothing in regards to woodworking. He mentioned that id need at least a 100l tank so avoid emptying the tank in a flash and I know the specs of the gun I want needs atleast 2.5 HP, the blasting equipment sits below all the spraying spec so aslong as I meet the spray spec im fine. Other than this im pretty clueless as im all self taught but seem to get the results I'm after (usually!)

AFAIK, media blasting uses loads of air . Much more than spraying.

Do you have a chemical dipper/stripper near you ? usually cheap enough , especially if you will be a regular customer.
