Shoved these in a while back. All mdf carcass and doors. Oak tops and some very nice field oak milled on our sawmill. Sorry it's a link to the website but i thought it might be more polite for a first post.

Welcome to the forum! Interesting having a quick look at the images on your website. For the rails and stiles of the doors I notice that you glued them up from 2 pieces. Are they just a rubbed joint or did you use biscuits or dominos to align the pieces? Seems like quite a lot of work especially if you have your own mill - would be interesting to see some pictures of that.

Good old gripfill by the looks and maybe some small brackets back fixed and chopped into the wall and made good.

Thanks for looking. The rails and stiles are made from steamed beech. I machined them to be one piece but as soon as they left the band-saw they went banana shaped. So I ripped them down and glued them back together opposite ends. just a rubbed joint with PVA. Worked OK in the end. I'll be staying away from steamed beech in the future.
Yes you're right, gripfill and french cleats to hang the fireplace. Some really nice local oak that had been drying in a field for about 15 years. lovely grain and great to work with.
I'll try and get something uploaded with the mill. It's not getting used as much as I'd like so it could be on the market soon.

Link to the sawmill build on the website. We have cut mostly home grown Douglas fir and Oak. Great machine just not getting used much.
